  • Arp Latch --and/or-- More Arp Types

Arp Latch! Arp Types! More! Morrrrre! ha
    Thank you

  • knob learn(plock) for sample reverse, midi program change, note retrigger and sample start point

Any of those...all would be great!
  • Synth Engine Randomizer

A randomizer for the synth engine! Probably not for --every-- parameter, but all the good ones at least.
Its really great for those spaced-out moments, when you want to just press a button over and over. You can get some suprising results you might not have come across otherwise, to then build off from.

  • Keep an eye on little and logical issues, and complete functions

    +1
Perfect the basics now, before they get buried and lost in too many new ideas. (at least that's how i would approach development.)
ive been wondering lately, as i try to organize my song parts and sample and what-not, that maybe the deluge is kind of made to just embrace a chaotic sandbox mentality. Like its just not entirely designed to be one thing but at the same time it's just one thing, if that makes sense?
It feels brilliant in the way you would be amazed at a tornado somehow creating a helicopter after passing thru a junk yard.
So I don't know, maybe there's some master plan that requires sidesteps we would all insist were necessary, but prove irrelevant in the long run? Or it's just luck that its worked this well? A little of both I would guess.
Anyways, thanks for the post @MK_0 .

  • Tips and Tricks

----Build unique, low cpu kits for any song, quickly by browsing existing kits!-----

This "trick" works since the Deluge will load any sample starting off from the last opened/ browsed location.
Let's say you load an existing kit of 100 kicks into your song, you preview thru them (in context with your track) and find the one you like. With that sample's audition pad, use the "audition/browse" shortcut to open the file browser and press the select knob to keep the file the same and close the browser. Now simply create a new kit and right where you opened that kick, that same kick will be right there for you to load!
You can now delete the "100 kicks" track and find "100 snares"...find the right one, hit browse/select again, jump over to the new kit your making and add that new sample to the kit using the "audition/kit" shortcut, and there's your snare!

This is also a good technique for temporarily creating a new kit via the "select all" option to get the entire content of a folder. Then you can just quickly browse and audition that folders contents without using the scroll knob, picking out and adding to your new kit as you go, deleting the temp track and all the unused samples when your done.

This may be obvious to everyone, but I just figured it out :D

  • Tips and Tricks

Just found you can run the arp on the external line-in source.

and keeping the "octaves" setting to 1 gets you a slicer effect on the input.

  • Ability to control tempo within a sequence

+1 have it ramp up or down between locks

  • Prefire Program change

Sending the message at the end of the pattern change then would just require unmuting that track before switching.
I have my electribe as master clock to the deluge and have note on messages that are saved withing the electribes saved patteren that is mapped to the deluges midi mute /sections buttons, which is a midi program change track for the electribe itself. So its kind of like an external song mode for the deluge that i can jam with since its on a seperate sequncer that i can also mute and unmute its parts that are controlling the deluges parts with. Fun stuff.
