hi-res mode
Could the Deluge be put into turbo mode? (like any good x86 should!) I would sacrifice polyphony for higher resolution amplitude differences (higher bit rates) and more harmonic content (higher sampling rate)
idk if thats possible with the software as it is.. like change some constants and stuff.. but i like the idea of double the turns for all the volumes, this always makes for much more musical mixing. the reverbs and stuff would probably benefit in this fantasy of mine as well..
maybe call it kurzweil mode or something, though the k series was only 48khz dsp, it had some amazing resolution.. -
sample-specific timestretch settings (vs kit-global)
the timestretch feature seems to be based on the master tempo and the note length.
could a parameter switch be added to each sample that would disconnect from those 'master values' and connect instead to a custom length param and tempo param (per sample)?
if so, i think there would be a lot of really rad things that we could do if timestretch was separated from the song
thinking further into this, the sample tempo should be lockable to the master tempo so it can change relative to the master tempo -
Automation of Start and End points of a sample and different Looping options
isn't this already possible? loop end and start are sound editor pans and i thought they were all able to be recorded
