There are some parts of songs where I'd like to be able to parameter lock the Stutter effect for note/track/song if that's possible.

When you hold the shift button down for a period of time (maybe 3 seconds) the top 3 rows of the note entry pad could become an alphanumeric keypad and the bottom 5 could scroll text (conditionally based)
i.e. sample name, track name, preset name, song name, etc.
It's easier to find a song or track by name rather than by it's number (001A-Z through 999a-z)
So- the LED readout could display the number and the note entry pad could display the name.

What would be great is if the Deluge showed up as a disk drive so I could load/edit samples directly on the SD card without having to take it out.

I would like an option to solo a track without jumping to track mode or individually muting the other tracks (assuming that's not already an option).
It would make track selection for editing easier.

In addition to the regular 16 channels we get using the MIDI DIN ports, it would be quite excellent if we could get an additional 16 (or more) via USB.

This suggestion dovetails with the scrolling names now implemented with samples. If I could name my songs on the computer and have the deluge read them properly, it would help me keep my songs organized and wouldn't necessarily require implementing an alphabet input system. I experimented renaming a song "test" but the deluge didn't recognize it. Then I renamed it "SONGtest"-- still no recog.
My songs need names.

The ability to set attack, decay, sustain and release to note length/ bars or gate value in addition to the current 0-50 parameter value would be a welcome addition.

The ability to sculpt a synth with vowel-sound type filter would be an excellent addition to the current manifest.
There's a particular song I'm working on right now that just SCREAMS for an "aaah" sound.

Just like the title says. I'd like to set the color for the whole track in song mode rather than just the audition pad. It would be OK to keep the regular colors in track mode, but in song mode it would be helpful to me at least to have the whole drum track show up as green, for instance and the whole bass track to show up as blue.

some visual feedback on the effect (like 4/8/16/32/64th) notes would be good too. just more control over the effect would be great.
