support for class compliant usb audio interface?
it totally depends on hardware, but I could not find any descritpion of deluge's innards.
so at the risk of looking silly, I think it's worth asking here.
would it be feasable? it would make deluge the ultimate workhorse as it would gain access to better preamps/converters AND addictional outs -
when browsing samples, hitting the audition pad could preview the sample in loop mode
this would be great when choosing single cycle waveforms..

ask confirmation before saving to an occupied slot
it happened to me for second time to blindly overwrite a song because I was meaning to load a song while I was actually saving to the slot I wanted to load.
I should have made a backup and I'm an idiot, but the two buttons are close and behave exactly the same way.
Maybe asking for confirmation before saving to an occupied slot would make the Deluge more idiot proof.. -
on using the matrix as a low resolution display
Hi to all and apologies if it has been discussed elsewhere.
the first application that would come to mind is to display a rough waveform for setting sample start/end points, but it could be used also for many other graphical apps as an aid to the leds when menu diving, or even to display text. that would put to silence those that complain that the deluge should have a proper display.. -
allow to use REC+PLAY option also when sampling external audio
this is very useful when one wants to sample parts sequenced by Deluge on external gear (MIDI or CV), so to have perfectly timed start and end points.
ATM the only way to do it is by using audio IN as oscillator mode, create a note to play it, and then resample. It would be cool to have the same option that we already have when resampling (to start and stop recording in sync with the internal tracks) also when recording external audio. That would save resources and time. -

Sample per step
Yes but on elektrons you only have one row per voice..
What would be the point of loading different samples on a single row when they can be already displayed on adjacent ones?
