  • Interface idea for note repeat in “kit” mode (simple and logical)

Now, when you are in “kit” and press that “piano” button near “scale”, it is not activating anything, so there is a good empty space for note repeat function for drums or anything in the kit. Idea is: every grid button becomes time division of repetition horisontally for each of drums that are already located vertically (I mean corresponding to drums vertically). For example: you press lower left button in the grid and bass drum starts to play 2/4 beat, when you move your finger to the neighboring button on the right BD starts to play 4/4 an so on. So in such mode you can just press a “chord” and the whole drum kit will play from simple to polyrythmic stuff in one touch and you can record it.

  • CPU LOAD METER/INDICATOR

Deluge is unique in its ability to give the user freedom of choice how much tracks/instruments/fxs you can use. I love this concept, it is great and simple like if I would work in my daw, no limits besides the limits of hardware itself. But in daw workflow I can see cpu/ram load and predict at least somehow the system overload and at some point decide to optimize composition. I know, that you can resample Deluges output and it really helps in general composing tasks, but what about live? How can I forecast how far can I push Deluges resources in live perfomance and avoid glitching? What elements shoul I “freeze” and what can I leave to play with? I never know and it is the reason I simply afraid of using it on the gig. But! If I would see cpu load I could leave a margin of safety. Please vote guys! It is very important for those who plays live. I think it is the last “Achilles` heel” of so beloved by us machine.

  • Sampling mode with functions of “resampling” mode

It is almost there...I mean the same functions as in “resampling mode” but with line in instead of line output (that is more obvious for me). It is strange that that functions (as a pattern dependent record punch in/out) appeared in resample BEFORE simple sampling. It is so annoing that I have to stop and mute everything just to sample anything in rythm. I can not even make rythmically and musically right voice sample.

  • extend ‘affect entire’ mode to include matrix edits and modulation routings for kits

At least to make it for pitching of the whole kit, it will be useful if you chop loops to parts.

you would think this would be a priority on a device like this. apparently not?

I think about my priorities and guys like me. My business is to write suggestion and hope it will be implemented.

It will kill all that mpc/machine note repeat stuff simply because you`ll have up to 16 repeat varieties for up to 8 drums at the same time under your fingers ;)
