  • NEW: "Boards of Deluge" - 50 new, organic synth presets for Deluge

    Ordered my deluge yesterday.
I'm totally new to sound design and I'm very impressed.

    Really very beautiful sounds.
Good chance I will buy the pack.

  • Scale detection off option.

I love the isomorphic keyboard especially with scales engaged.
As a non musician, its allowed me to play along with my own tracks and experiment without constantly hitting bum notes.
I really feel like having the scales visible has removed huge learning barrier.

But there is also a problem.
Having the scales there act as a reference point, but with the auto detect, it also means you can not leave the scale without ruining the layout.
Now I know I can just remove the scales and learn the octave only layout, but that removes one of the biggest advantages and makes it so much harder to play.

Scale detection is very useful and im sure lots of people use it creatively.

But if the detection could be toggled off, and the scales just be a mask. It would allow people like myself with no real musical training to progress much quicker.
Many people learn visually and having more reference points just makes it easier.

And at the moment, if you want something as simple as Cmaj to Cmin in a chord progression. It just doesn't work.
