Future of song mode?
Hey guys. Love my Deluge. A really cool piece of gear. One thing has me down though. And this would be my number 1 feature request-- a proper song mode Maybe via some sort of pattern-chain function?
When I originally heard there was a song mode on the Deluge, that's when I put in the pre-order. Unfortunately, it's not a song mode at all, in the traditional sense. I thought I'd be able to finally get away from the computer for arrangement, but not quite yet.
This is actually a bit of a make or break situation for me. I'm afraid if a proper song mode isn't implemented, I might have to sell my otherwise awesome Deluge for something like one of the new MPC's. Though I'd prefer a groovebox solution. Please don't make me go back to the MC-909
So are there any plans to implement a more traditional song mode?
Thanks!

Song Mode - Sections Palette to draw on the grid
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'd love to see some kind of traditional song mode implemented, be it by some of the great ideas here, or by a simple pattern-chaining function. Without this, I only use the Deluge as a composing tool that gets sampled into another sampler for arranging. And to be honest, if I have to sample my sampler into another sampler to finish songs, I might have to sell my Deluge for, say, a Microsampler, since I prefer to perform/compose on keys.
Don't get wrong, I love the Deluge. It's an amazingly designed piece of gear. I realize that everyone's needs are different but I'm just not sure why, with groovebox workstations in general, traditional song modes aren't included. We're all musicians. We all make songs

Triplet sync options
I'm actually in the market for a synced digital delay eurorack module like Chronoblob or Echophon, but I wouldn't mind saving $250-$400 if it were implemented in Deluge
It'd friggen rock to have the delay's time/clock as a modulation destination too. That way, when you send an lfo, for example, to the delay time/clock, that lfo would automate the different divisions of the clock (including triplets) at the main clocks's tempo. You end up getting a really cool synced ratcheting delays. You don't even need to have the lfo synced since it's automating divisions of the main clock. Chronoblob is cool too because you have the option to select whether or not the pitch fluctuates with the delay change, or to have a straight repeating digital delay. Here's a couple examples from Chronoblob:

Modify the "stutter" effect so that it is affecting the sequencer rather than the audio playback
