Play synth/kit clip and output MIDI at the same time
I hope they prioritize comprehensive MIDI functionality soon.
It's getting sort of comical at this point.
From my experience developing hardware, and especially hardware with limited UI space, it can get markedly harder to add fundamental functionality that affects all areas of the device if you have to pivot around the individual bells and whistles you keep adding.
Easier to have the fundamental stuff figured out early. -
MIDI learned parameters: Change from saving to PRESETS to saving to TRACKS instead!
This very reasonable request topic has come up soooo many times over the years it's sort of silly.
Sadly, through two major software releases, I've never seen a peep of acknowledgement from Synthstrom recognizing that MIDI control functionality could be improved.
Not holding my breath. -
How do I keep MIDI IN data from going to multiple tracks?
It seems a MIDI Learn Mode option for the "Active Track/Clip/Synth/Kit/Whatever-You-Want-To-Call-It"...would solve all of this. It would save enormous amounts of time creating and modifying song templates.
It's been requested and postulated about how it could work for years on this forum and, as far as I can tell so far, has been ignored.
