Song position sync to DAW?

When using a DAW as midi master clock, it will make the Deluge start/stop whenever the DAW also starts/stops.
Both will be in sync, but only when you start from the beginning.

If you skip a part in the DAW, the Deluge does not skip the same amount. Is it possible to make it sync song position? This would be very useful, especially when in Arranger mode of Deluge.

    yes.
with the continue play command Deluge emits song position via midi. u can for example sync another Deluge, use continue play in Arranger and the synced Deluge plays from the same song position. havent looked up yet, suspect its either SPP or MTC.

But that’s when using the Deluge as master. What about having the DAW as master? Will de Deluge pick up song position?
I use FL Studio which is not able to sync as midi slave

a slaved Deluge does pick up Song position.

havent monitored the Midi output yet, manual (MIDI implementation chart) says it should be SPP, MTC is not supported.

dont know if FL supports SPP as slave or if Deluge SPP is not implemented in a standard way.

    looked it up today.
Deluge sends a Song Position Pointer message on Continue Play.
