arp velocity weirdness

If I play a synth with an arp I get strange velocity behavior-
I play a chord (in any voice mode- poly, mono, or legato) with a strong velocity. It sounds normal.
I add a note with a lighter velocity. The whole pattern drops in volume because all the old notes now conform to the new velocity. Even in poly mode.
The problem is repeatable and happens when sequencing or when using an external keyboard controller.

Thanks, a user alerted me to this recently. Addressing this is now on my to-do list, but unfortunately it won't make it into the upcoming minor update V2.1.2
