I've seen a few people have chosen the MAGMA 48003.

Any other suggestions from anyone who's compared 'in the flesh'?

...and for anyone interested, the MAGMA arrived and fits like a glove. Nice and light, although not extremely rugged.
Good for daily commute, etc., but not shipping...

I ve got the MAGMA as well and it is really good for the Deluge, I saw Ian had another Case when he was was on his "promotion" tour here in Cologne a while ago...unfortunately I don´t know what case exactly it was but I remember it was not MAGMA and it fitted as well..

I guess if I head out on tour with my unit, I'll look into the other options then.

Yeah, I've been using the original Pelican cases for decades - and you can often find a smokin' deal on a used one in solid condition on eBay. I have them for a lot of my dj gear.

Killer protection, but they are somewhat bulky and very heavy by comparison.

For the Deluge, I have a Magma for portability, as well as a 'hard case' for travel.
