What is the range on the (correction: UNISon) detune?

Can you get a sub-oscillator out of it with 1 detuned wave at an octave? :)

Yes certainly. The range is 96 semitones :p

Apologies, I was meaning in the VOICE -> UNISon setting, not just the OSC tune.

    i.e. Could you create a sub-oscillator with NUM=2 and UNISon=-12 ???

(Yes, I know this is getting hacky... but you never know.)

I think the unison detune amount only goes 0-50. I dont think it gives you an option to choose up or down detuning.

Nah, like Mafoo said it doesn't detune like that.

But if that's what you want you might as well just resample a waveform with a sub-osc then use that as wavetable/ single-cycle waveform. It'll save CPU too.

You can resample from the start of a sound by holding Rec then pressing an audition pad.

Thanks, this is a great on-the-fly solution!

Is adjusting the start/end points to get a smooth loop at a zero-crossing manageable?

Yes :) You can also apply small fades to the sample with the envelope settings.
With the new waveform view coming in version 2.1 it'll be even better !
