Adding "Random" to parameter like attack and decay etc.

//Edited: Thanks for giving me the information that there is in fact already a "random function" for some parameters.

It would be very cool to be able to add a randomness to parameters like attack and decay... Just to everything :)
It would be great to define the randomness (between 0% and 100% : probability of choosing a random value vs set value). and there could/should be the option for setting lowest and highest "random" values.

This would make our compositions more lively and dynamic :)

Normally I'd do this with a 'sample and hold' LFO set slow to retrigger on note on. I'd be surprised if this can't be done with the Deluge but mine hasn't arrived yet!

Some synths (e.g. Tempest) offer a 'random' mod source which generates a random trigger once per note - this makes things a bit easier to set up. That would be a useful addition if it's not there already.

Deluge can already do it... on most of the parameter when you on value that you need to randomize click the value knob another submenu shows with list of possible modulations scroll and you will find RAND ... click again and set the level of randomization. I use it on pan, freq cutoff, volume, I wish I had one for decay or attack to get some organic to my sounds

You can also use the shortcuts for this. Just hold shift then press the shortcut for the parameter you would like to randomise, then press shift again and press the "random" shortcut and dial in an amount. Not all parameters can currently be patched to random. There might be further options in future software.
