Performance-based muting options: immediate, next beat, next X bar, end of pattern

Coming from the Pyramid, this is probably what makes muting and unmuting tracks on that sequencer perfect for live performance work. You can set tracks to "arm" ( using the Deluge terminology ) on the following:

  • immediately: tracks are muted/unmuted as you press the button
  • on the next beat: tracks are muted/unmuted on the first beat ( quarter note in 4:4 )
  • on the next bar: state changes after X bars
  • at the end of the current pattern

What makes that possible is the fact that internally the Pyramid's patterns are free running, so they don't go out of sync as you mute and unmute them, allowing you to ride the mutes to make changes to the song as the tracks are playing, without forcing them to restart from the beginning

Yes, I know there's immediate and full length, and also read the thread about how muting should keep trails on delays and reverbs, rather than abrubtly cutting the audio stream. Thanks
