Using Deluge to trigger soft synths

Hi - I see a lot of references to using Deluge to drive hardware synths, but none about using it to trigger soft synths (ie Omnisphere, etc.) Are there any issues doing this?

Also I presume you can record/export the MIDI sequences into a DAW and trigger soft synths that way?

thanks

You can't export midi yet. Although it has been mentioned to be in the works.
I'd assume soft synths would work like hardware. Choose a midi channel and away you go.

Really? So if I record a track from the Deluge into my DAW it wont record the Midi? It wont send patterns?

If you send a sequence from the Deluge via midi you can of course record the midi data in your DAW. But Deluge doesn't yet save and read midi files :)
