Has anyone found a good hard or soft padded case for the Deluge?

Depends on where you live, but there's some good suggestions and talk about this on the FB group(s)

Nevermind, found and joined the owners group.
And for us who doesn´t use facebook and don´t plan to start, what´s the general suggestion? (please?)
I´m looking for some kind of deluge protection, to have when i travel.
Nothing concrete.

I went with the first one, just fits but it’s well protected.

Alright thanks for the heads-up.
They fit nicely in a 15" Gecko neoprene cover, and then I just slip it into a laptop bag.
Thanks for the heads up - got one of these and is perfect
a 15" laptop sleeve isnt bad.. I have this and it is reused for the deluge..

FYI! I ordered a MAGMA 48003 based on this thread and it appears to have been redesigned and is now 6 inches wide and will not fit the Deluge. The Deluge measures 12x8x2 inches BTW.
The link posted above is for the Magma 48002 which fits boutiques without the keyboard.
I recommend getting the Magma 48003 from a good eBay dealer but looks like you can get them from Walmart even - https://www.walmart.com/ip/MAGMA-48003-Ctrl-Hard-shell-Case-For-Roland-Boutique-Key/218359308
Adorama has them too

Also B&H

@Vondragonnoggin
Thanks for the 48002 suggestion.
I found this Amazon Basics GoPro case for $15 that should fit pretty well.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PMMB4X8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
Measures 13 by 9 by 2.5 inches according to the description. Just gotta remove some of the foam inserts.
I'll report back if it fits or not.
It looks like Amazon ran out and hasn’t updated their product links properly.
I wasn’t suggesting the 48002, I was just pointing out the 6” Magma case model is 48002.
The Magma 48003 is the right case but Amazon has screwed up the page
I fixed my post. I can see how you might have read it like that, but again, there are actual good links to the case at Walmart and Adorama. I bought 4 of the 48003 cases off eBay and they definitely fit the Deluge and the case is sturdy, not a soft case.
There is also a $20 difference in price from 48002 to 48003, so if you’ve added it to your cart and price comes up as $29.99 rather than $49.99, then you have the wrong product in the cart. 48003 is $49.99 almost everywhere in the US. Description is different too - 48002 says Boutique Dock case and 48003 says Boutique Keys case. Boutique Keys case is the one that fits.
Info for anyone else reading the thread that is still considering a Magma case:
Amazon link is no good right now. It links to a 48002 Boutique Dock case.
Received the Amazon Basics GoPro Case, unfortunately due to the rounded corners it does not fit. It does however fit my Elektron Digitone quite nicely, so I'm keeping it.
how about a damn case that ships to Australia!
anyone down hear find a case yet?
I just got the magma boutique keyboard case, it is perfect but not sure if it is available in Oz?
Also the magma boutique synth case is a good fit for the TE OP1
In Europe, the Magma 48003 is available from Thomann and gear4music.
Magma 48003 case fits like a glove, room inside for the manual and cables too.
Got from amazon in the uk.
I went ahead and got the CarryPro. It just fits. Pretty snug on the corners, but I don't think that's a huge problem unless you anticipate very rough handling. But in that case, you probably want a real hard case.
the magma 48003 boutique key case does fit really well, so thanks to @toast for the heads-up!
(amazon currently has them on sale for 35,45 eur, so i ordered a second one for my sh01a)
i'm wondering: would it make sense to cut out the foam lining where the knobs are, to protect the clicking encoders from any pressure?
Checkout the Nanuk 910. It pretty much fits perfectly and offers much more protection than the Magma Case. I own both and will say that the Nanuk is definitely the way to go.
I bought both the Magma 48003 and the CarryPro large handgun case.
The Magma looks larger but because of its rounded corners, it rubs the side panels of the Deluge more than the Carry Pro. The zipper also looks tougher on the Magma, but like my other Magma cases, it’s not smooth and catches at the corners. The Carry Pro has foam on both sides, the Magma has foam on one side.
The thing I liked least about the Magma was the intense chemical smell. I’m not sensitive to smells at all, but it was overwhelming. It comes from the foam interior. My other Magma keyboard cases don’t have the problem. The Magma 48003 has been returned. The Carry Pro will do, but a nicer case is in my future.
