Shortening longer clips

Hi is there a way to shorten clips easily? If I record midi for 16 bars and then want to shorten quickly to 4 bars I can achieve this but I find the shift and scroll quite hard as it doesn’t seem to shorten bar by bar and it is a bit fiddly. Any suggestions would be great thanks

    Not sure what you mean. If you zoom out to see all 16 bars, shortening to 4 takes a second + you have the length shown on the screen.
