Is it possible to transfer a synth track to a midi track

Can I sketch an idea out with the onboard synth, then push the note data to an outboard synth?
How would I accomplish this?

    Copy&paste probably will come soon.
Until now there is a copy workaround. If you clone a track you get a copy of all notes. You can actually “unclone” a cloned track by changing its patch or the track type. Just noticed it also works with changing a track patch number!
    So, for your case.
    1. create a clone track of your synth track. Only one track can play, the other gets muted.
    2. change the type of the cloned track to midi
    3. now you can mute and unmute both tracks like normal tracks

That’s exactly what I was hoping for! Already discovered the patch number change workaround.
Will have to plug my other synths in and try now. Thanks!!

If you don't need to keep the original synth sound you can just press the midi button when in track mode.
I often do this or change a midi track back to an onboard synth if I only have the Deluge with me.
You can also do this with CV and Kit tracks...
