problems with midi delay from MPC live

ok I have been sending chords & progressions ifrom My MPC Live via midi to the deluge _
my problem is that notes and chords alwaYS seem to be late .. even though i jammed them live into a midi clip over a track in the Deluge ....HELP!!!!!!
