Help! Arturia external keyboard "previews" differently to how it is recorded

Hey all,

I have an Arturia 49 Analog Experience The Laboratory keyboard/controller hooked up to the Deluge via Midi.

When I use the Arturia to learn a preset on the Deluge and then play the keyboard on the Arturia, there is a much longer release on the notes than when those notes are played on the Deluge's own keyboard.

Interestingly, once I record a clip by playing on the Arturia, the Deluge plays it back WITHOUT that release I hear when playing the Arturia.

Thus there's a mismatch between what I play "in" and what's recorded. I don't know for sure if there's anything I can do on the Arturia to remove that additional release on notes... or can something on the Deluge be adjusted?
