Smoother gradient for using saturation

32

It begins to affect the signal too quickly, needs to be smoother. Particularly from 0-10.

Maybe an inverse exponential /log response is required. I find this is the case with the effects too.

the saturation sounds too harsh too quickly. Maybe some soft warm tube saturation at lower values, turning into overdrive at middle values and harsher distortion only at the highest levels

    True.
A dry/wet mix option with that could also work for me.
I'd love to see it and the other distorting effects tidied up/smoothed out.
    But anyway good idea.

over all I think all the effects could use refinement

This. So many times I find myself wanting something in between these steps, but the effect goes from 0-extreme in a step or two. I usually just end up leaving the effect off as a result. I'd love some smoother, more subtle options.
