Crackle in Volume Knob

Hey all -

Have had deluge for a year now and just noticed a crackling in the movement of the volume knob (in headphones). This is without anything else playing though I imagine it persists during playback.

Anyone had this issue / solutions? compressed air solution or was it digital?
