New audio track zooming problem

If I use the new audio track, load a sample e.g. a beat and fuzzing around with the length (red cursor),

  1. zooming in, putting the cursor near to the beginning of the sample (64th)
  2. I only can zoom out to 32nd (not more)
  3. release the U/D Button
  4. set the cursor on the most right position
  5. then I can zoom out to 16th (not more)
  6. release the U/D Button
  7. then I can zoom out to 8th (not more)

Why can't I zoom out in one step from 64th to 8th, 4th, 2nd, 1bar ... and so on?
In a live situation it would make so much more sense.

And it would be nice, if you can see the whole waveform (greyed or inverted) when zooming out, instead of just a white wall.
