Add dotted and triplet modes to the arp

I think this was already possible (at least for the triplets) in the past (before 1.4) by modifying the rate (which was intended for free running mode) while in sync mode but it was "fixed" in an update.

Please re-introduce this feature in the correct section to make this feature a lot more versatile.
