Prevent muted tracks from sending MIDI to external gear

I am using some external gear to control some other external gear through the Deluge using custom kits that are MIDI mapped to my gear. Each note in the kit is set up to output a different midi value, and has been mapped to be controlled by external gear through the "learn" function.

The gear that is controlling those kits also produces sound, and sometimes I want to use the internal engine of the synth instead of control the piece of other gear that it's mapped to. It would be extremely convenient to be able to mute the drum track containing those mappings to stop external gear from being triggered, and unmute it to continue playing with it.
