Gate/midi note AND sample output at the same time

I want my kick drum to sound AND at the same time send a gate or midi note signal to my external compressor's sidechain input.

Now you can only do ONE of those things at a time. But it would be super helpful to avoid having to create a separate track inside a kit to do this.

The possibility of outputting sidechain to gate or midi note alternatively.
