Feedback from Deluge when plugged into USB hub which is connected to my computer

Does anyone know the cause of feedback from Deluge when plugged into a USB hub which is connected to my computer or connected directly to my computer. This does not happen when I plug the USB into a separate power source. It goes away when I power up the device.
