Pitch Shift/Keyboard mode for selected Sample in Kit Mode when pressing Keyboard button

Like the title says. It would be nice in Kit mode if we were able to use the keyboard button to change the mode to pitch shifting of the selected sample. Right now it doesn't have any function while in Kit Mode. Maybe we could just have one mode where it is the normal keyboard mode(with or without scale view) for playing/recording and if you press shift+keyboard button it will still work as a step sequencer for that sample where setting the steps in higher or lower tracks changes the pitch up and down like in synth mode(again with or without scale). Just thought it would be an intuitive way to integrate that function.
