View/Edit Parameter Automation mode

Not being able to see, let alone edit the automation values you've recorded makes it difficult to be precise. Sure you can hit record and wiggle the parameter encoder around, but if you want a specific value, or edit that value after that fact, you can't.
Also having automation keys that are not attached to the underlying notes is really useful. Maybe you could have a mode where the pads display the automation values instead of the notes?
You'd need a way to enter the automation mode, probably a variation on how sub-menu shortcuts and/or parameter selection works, but with a modifier to enter the parameter edit mode.
- horizontal axis is time as usual
- vertical axis is parameter value ( could be a range of value based on the zoom level )
- color indicates if the value is locked to the note, or if it's independent

+1, it's kinda hard to get automations exactly how you want them with the current method, drawing them in would be much better.
