A way to display parameters assigned to a knobs (custom ones)

Unless im missing something it seems its not possible to know which parameters has been assigned to the knobs (custom ones or if you have reassigned a different param to a knob : for ex using the filter cut off knob to control OSC pitch 1 ).
Maybe they could implement something like pressing shift and turning a knob that would show the corresponding parameter by illuminating the corresponding PAD associated to that parameter ? Any idea ?
